All CIECA members are invited to attend a webinar presented by Andreas Pöge from the Institut für Prävention und Verkehrssicherheit (IPV GmbH), focusing on the continuous evaluation of the optimized practical driving test introduced in Germany in January 2021. The session will provide an overview of the reform of the German practical driving test, including its alignment with a driving task catalogue, the introduction of an enhanced feedback system, the implementation of an electronic test protocol, and the establishment of new quality assurance procedures.
Participants will gain insight into the quality management system used to monitor and continuously improve the test, as well as the extensive research programme supporting its development. The webinar will present key findings from studies examining data quality, examiner satisfaction, test equivalence, testing conditions, examiner objectivity, and competence deficits among licence applicants.
