Projects & studies
Projects & studies
CIECA has managed or participated in a number of different international studies relating to driving licensing, driver training and driver testing. Many of these studies and projects were commissioned and subsidised by the Directorate General for Mobility & Transport of the European Commission.
A first series of the studies looked into the driving test for the various vehicle categories and the requirements listed in the various European on driving licences. More recently, CIECA has been involved in projects looking into driver training; in particular, into advanced or second phase driver training and the integration of multimedia tools and simulators into driver training.
Currently, CIECA is involved in the projects ECOWILL and RIDERSCAN
